The right blend for success

HSBC UK wanted to highlight some great success stories for its International Business Loan products. To do this, they wanted to bring to life 3 stories that gave an authentic take on how influential these loans can be to small businesses that have global ambitions.

My concept was to completely reshape how we create content for a production like this, which meant breathing new life, charm and interest into the standard take on a case study film. Through a pitch process, my concept won the work, which would take place over a series of weeks at various locations.

The intention was to break up the narrative, introduce story telling mechanics that felt more like episodic TV, with general interest, interesting visuals and a level of informality that took it away from a corporate banking film.

Supported by organic and paid social, this content created an easier way in for people considering international banking loans – but were looking for the right partner (or the perfect blend if you will).

My roles included concept, pitch, art direction, pre and post production, photography and editing.
